Privacy policy

Draft — not the finished policy. This page is a scaffold. The wording below has not been written or reviewed by anyone qualified to write it, and it is not a statement of Discia's legal position. It is here so the route, the layout and the footer link exist; the owner replaces the text before launch.

The short version, which is true today and is the thing the finished policy has to say accurately: the worksheets on this site are free, need no account, and ask for nothing about you.

What is true right now

These are statements of fact about the site as it is currently built, verified in the code — not drafted legal language. They are the raw material for the real policy.

There is no sign-up. Account creation is closed.
The public pages set no cookies of any kind.
There is no analytics, no tag manager, and no tracking pixel.
The pages make no third-party requests at all — no CDN, no web font, no embedded widget. Your browser talks to this site and nothing else.
No personal data is collected from visitors to the worksheet pages.

Still to be written by the owner

A UK-focused policy for a site used by under-18s needs at least:

Who the data controller is, and how to contact them.
What server logs record, how long they are kept, and why.
The lawful basis for each kind of processing.
How the ICO's Age Appropriate Design Code is met — it applies to all under-18s, not only under-13s.
Data subject rights, and the route to exercising them.
The ICO's details as the supervisory authority, and how to complain.
How changes to this policy are notified, and a version and date.

Everything about accounts, email, parental consent and children's records is deliberately absent, because none of it exists yet. It arrives with L2 — see docs/LAUNCH_PLAN.md — and this policy has to be finished and reviewed before that, not alongside it.
